Enervise expands on its vision again by opening the newest service branch office in the state of Kentucky. Providing local service to northern and central counties in Kentucky and providing employees of the region local home base.

Enervise opened its new headquarters at 10226 Alliance Road. Moving the corporate offices and Cincinnati service center from the Reading - Amberly Village area to Blue Ash Ohio

Enervise opened the doors to its newest service branch office in Zanesville OH, providing local service to surrounding counties in the area.

Engineering Excellence Regional Services, LLC, began operations under the name Enervise. Still locally-owned and operated by the Winstel Family. Enervise, Inc. divested it’s wholly owned subsidiary Engineering Excellence National Accounts, LLC to SE Holdco, LLC, the parent company of Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning.

Engineering Excellence Regional Services (now Enervise) pioneers the replacement of paper reporting with electronic tablets allowing technicians to perform parts searches, review account equipment history and provide work order documentation to their clients instantly on site.

Installation of Intellitrak™—Engineering Excellence Regional Services (now Enervise)’s award-winning proprietary software and facilities management service center was implemented. Tom A. transferred ownership of the company to his son and daughters.

Engineering Excellence Regional Services (now Enervise) was awarded “Commercial Contractor of the Year” (from Air Conditioning Contractors of America) and “Best Contractor to Work For” (from industry publication, The News) among others.

Tom’s son Tom J. Winstel was named president of Engineering Excellence Regional Services and established Engineering Excellence National Accounts, one of the premiere sub-contracted integrated facilities management firms in the US and Canada.

With the addition of the Columbus and Dayton office, Engineering Excellence Regional Services (now Enervise) expanded service to Central Ohio, Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. The firm garnered numerous industry awards including ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) Quality contractor of the year, and “National Design Build Project of the Year” (Contracting Business Magazine). Tom A. institutes a dispatch system and fax machines on company trucks to facilitate responsive service.

Frank’s son, Thomas A. Winstel envisioning a new, innovative approach to HVAC mechanical service, founded Engineering Excellence Regional Services (now Enervise) using capital he gained from selling his antique duck decoy collection. Attracting the region’s top technical talent, Tom A. established a culture that lives today as a legacy of excellence based on a respect for employees, engagement in ongoing training and a focus on treating customers well. Field personnel were encouraged to leave each job site “better than you found it.”

While working with his uncle, Thomas J. Dyer, in the family business founded in 1908, Frank E. Winstel was the lead superintendent in the construction of Cincinnati's tallest building in the 20th century. Frank would later found the F.E. Winstel Company providing distribution of HVAC related parts throughout the midwest. Frank's descendants, the current owners of Enervise, are 4th generation leaders in the HVAC business.
